After a long time of absence I went to the SR site once again.. ~~LINK~~Tom wrote: Don't know when I will learn that banned posters never reform unless they become willing to request permission to return. (Hell, even those who appear willing are sometimes constitutionally unable to reform - nods to Abe.) Tom, I did request permission, but I never got so much as an answer from you or what's left of the SR Counsil. So yeah, after waiting for like maybe 8 weeks, I tried a different approach, heheh.

I know now that you people (the present SR mob) are nothing but a bunch of hypocrytical Christians.
Do you people really turn your right cheek?
HAH.
Nah, you will never.
Do you forgive people?
No way.
I did, and I do, and I don't consider myself a Christian.

The real need for reform is with poor old kaioatey who seems unable to remember that Abe stopped existing over a year ago and anyway it would have made more sense to address that post to Blackbeard (not the pirate). The analytical skill of these SR ‘geniuses’ is overwhelming.

Hmmm. well..... I have been around as "Abramelin(n)" for several years, and I don't really mind if people keep addressing me as 'Abe', although I have said here many times my real name is 'Rob'.
I often call Allister 'All', although I know his true first name is 'Don',a nd as far as I know he doesn't seem to mind.
I know the true first names of many people here (and on SR), but because they never posted using their true first name, I call them by their internet alias.
- Btw, Kaioatey, I think Tom is ok, but a bit... let's say... naieve and moralistic.
And somehow he is unaware of what's been sent to the council's email addess, or someone is not telling him. Heh, maybe I will try to post again, under a new alias. It's fun.

SURE! A couple years ago I met and learned to like you as Abe. Then you decided to play pirate for awhile...then a devil...rob.. rod...ram...? Shit man, I can't remember all those names..I'll just call you hey you, ok? That's better...heyyouok!

Yeah, I have had other aliasses, but for years it was (and in some other places still is) "Abramelin(n).'
About the 'Blackbeard' thing, I explaiined here, on my own site, why I started to use that name. First, I was getting tired of 'Abramelin', second, a clairvoyant woman was very sure that I had been a pirate in 'The Western Seas' in my past life (or lives). And to be frank: yeah, I was always interested in sailing ships, the sea..... and pirates (like the Vikings).
Rob.

Tom is a weakling. like Wu. weaklings, when they meet a superior opponent, or a more eloquent one, or a more intelligent/discerning one.... prefer to eliminate (ban) the person, rather than engage the argument. it is a moral deficiency. a character flaw.

Standing up for your (in Tom's case, Christian) beliefs takes some guts.
A mete of courage I very much doubt you could measure up to, frankly, Kai.
Tom is a strong man in many ways, and for those who know him well, also a reliable shoulder to cry on when winds are howling and the cold chills your bones.
Do you think your friends would say the same of you, kaioatey?

Hello Rooster, welcome to this site. Well, finally someone in present day SR 'command' who dares to enter here, lol. Like I said, I think Tom is an ok person. But to be honest, I disagree with how he manages SR. Just read this latest thread , and his respons to the OP: http://sustainedreaction.yuku.com/topic/6040/t/Is-this-a-mean-forum.html. Is there any need to tell the one who started the thread about the 'rules'?? What is he afraid of? But that's just me. I get the impression that he doesn't like anything that resembles a 'heated' discussion. Yep, emotions flare up sometimes, I know all about it. But most of the times things settle down eventually, with just a little 'steeríng' by the moderator/administrator. He doesn't want me to come back there, although I have sent emails to the council email address. Either he isn't aware of these emails (many months ago), or he simply ignores them. Tell me Rooster, why you think that is? I can be as polite as can be (most of the times), but I have my own ideas about things. I think the problem with me started with the former SR administrator Wu, and me commenting on Ari's posts. She seemed to love play victim, and I disagreed with that. True, maybe I wasn't really aware of what she really experienced during her stay with those CC groups.

The thread you linked to is, apart from the opening post and one or two others, pretty much a waste of space, I would say. (That would include Tom's replies. He is not as firm and hard and manly as he could have been here).
I agree that Wu was wrong to ban you, and even more wrong to ban Inga for speaking up for you the next day. But what can I do? If he and Tom veto letting someone back... still, you have nothing to lose by writing the Council.
Ari very nearly brought down one of our finest minds (Wu) with her tricks and cunning, not to mention her outspokenness. And if you've followed my postings on SR, you will know that I favor underhandedness and passive-aggressive bullshitting (as some would call it) above all else. Tactics is what wins the battle. Straightforward, honest speech is pretty much anathema to us. It just doesn't suit the SR style. Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.
I don't expect you to agree with me on every single point, obviously, but I'd still like you to know where I'm coming from, Abe.

Apologies.
I'm not Rooster of SR, and wouldn't want to be for all the promised sexual encounters with Tom in the world.
I'll probably retire this name right here.

ya, doesn't sound like rooster ....
My interest in SR will not return until it has a mod or admin capable of starting threads and doing some leading. There's no joy beating on a Tom who straggles far behind and has no original input. I did a search back for when did he ever start a thread. I probably missed a few .. I only checked a few pages ... back on page 19 (year 2006) he started one on morality, a few introductory lines followed with a one word paragraph. "Discuss."
Wu and Ghost Dog frequently started threads.
